Trade Access and Certification Support for SMEs
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Georgia), with funding from the European Union (EU), is implementing the " Trade Access and Certification Support" programme that supports export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) introduce international standards, obtain quality certifications and accreditations, and secure product licenses required to access international markets. These may include, for example, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, OEKO-TEX and GOTS for the textile sector, GLOBALG.A.P., preparation of technical documentation for CE marking, BSCI, and others.
Under the programme, co-financing covers 90% of the cost of certification, accreditation, and/or licensing, up to a maximum of USD 4, 500 per beneficiary. An open call will be announced multiple times throughout the program, and 5-15 beneficiary SMEs will be selected within each call.
Sectors supported under the programme:
** Agriculture, forestry and fishing;
** Manufacturing;
** Selected service sectors such as information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, education, healthcare services, among others.
The programme does not cover the tourism, real estate, or construction sectors. It also does not apply to individuals, including Individual Entrepreneurs.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The current review round will include applications received by 20 September. The next review round will cover applications received between 20 September and October 31.
