Tezi Logistics is an international project logistics company, established in 2004. Headquartered in Georgia, we operate branches in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, and Italy. We specialize in the transportation of complex and oversized (OOG) project cargo for the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
To strengthen our team, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for our Georgia office.
The successful candidate will manage challenging OOG and multimodal transport operations, working closely with EPC contractors, ports, railways, and government agencies across multiple regions.
Responsibilities:
** Plan and manage OOG, heavy-lift, and project cargo transportation (road, rail, sea, and multimodal).
** Develop logistics schemes, including route surveys, permits, and special handling requirements.
** Coordinate with carriers, port authorities, surveyors, and customs officials.
** Ensure proper securing, handling, and compliance with SMGS, international standards, and safety regulations.
** Oversee preparation of transport documentation, customs clearance, and technical reports.
** Participate in tender processes and contribute technical input for proposals.
** Control project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
** Ensure compliance with corporate HSE and ISO standards.
Requirements:
** Higher education in logistics, transport, or related fields.
** 3-5+ years of proven experience with OOG/project cargo logistics.
** Solid knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, permits, and transport engineering requirements.
** Experience with route surveys, transport drawings, and coordination of heavy-lift operations.
** Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with ability to engage with both authorities and private sector stakeholders.
** Proficiency in English (professional level); Russian and other languages are an advantage.
** Confident user of MS Office; knowledge of ERP/logistics systems is a plus.
