Salary: US $7, 068.60 per month
Duration: May 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026
Position Overview:
The Senior Director of Early Childhood Strategy and Partnerships provides strategic leadership for initiatives designed to strengthen early childhood education systems in Georgia. The position is responsible for guiding long-term strategy, developing partnerships with government agencies and international organizations, and securing funding to expand and sustain early childhood programs.
The Senior Director oversees the National Implementation Director responsible for program delivery, including professional development, coaching, curriculum training, and university partnerships. In addition to program oversight, the Senior Director leads research and innovation initiatives, including a national study examining the potential role of artificial intelligence in early childhood education.
This role focuses on aligning program implementation with national policy priorities, building collaborative partnerships, and ensuring sustainable investment in high-quality early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
** Provide strategic direction for early childhood education initiatives in Georgia.
** Supervise and support the National Implementation Director responsible for program implementation.
** Ensure alignment between program activities, national education priorities, and international best practices.
** Guide long-term planning and system development for early childhood education programs.
Partnerships and Interagency Collaboration:
** Build and maintain partnerships with national and municipal education authorities, universities, and research institutions.
** Collaborate with international organizations, NGOs, and development partners to strengthen early childhood systems.
** Facilitate coordination across agencies involved in early childhood education initiatives.
Funding Development and Resource Mobilization:
** Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support the expansion of early childhood education programs.
** Lead the development of grant proposals and partnership agreements with funding organizations.
** Coordinate long-term investment strategies for early childhood education initiatives.
National Study on Artificial Intelligence in Early Childhood Education:
** Lead the design and implementation of a national study examining the implications of artificial intelligence for early childhood education.
** Coordinate research partnerships with universities, researchers, and policy institutions.
** Analyze potential applications of AI in areas such as teacher preparation, professional development, classroom practice, and education system management.
** Produce research reports and policy briefs to inform national discussions on emerging technologies in education.
Research, Policy, and Program Evaluation:
** Oversee research and evaluation activities across program initiatives.
** Ensure that program planning and policy recommendations are informed by evidence and data.
** Contribute to national policy discussions related to early childhood education and teacher preparation.
Qualifications:
Education:
Doctoral degree (preferred) or master`s degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Policy, Educational Leadership, Public Policy, or Sciences, or another relevant field involving advanced research training with demonstrated experience applying research to educational systems.
Experience:
** Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in education leadership, policy, or large-scale program development.
** Experience working with government agencies, universities, and international organizations.
** Experience developing partnerships and managing multi-partner initiatives.
** Experience securing or managing grant-funded programs.
