Are you a motivated and curious individual seeking to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful, community-based work? We are looking for a Project Assistant to join our team for an initiative that aims to support local agricultural and craft producers across Georgia.

This is a unique opportunity to engage in an international movement that empowers rural communities, promotes local products, and helps preserve Georgia`s rich cultural and artisanal traditions.

About the Role

As a Project Assistant, you will work closely with our project team to support a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the visibility, market access, and presentation of local products. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role ideal for someone looking to build practical skills in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and event management.

Key Responsibilities

** Assist with communications with local producers, partners, and other stakeholders.
** Support product research and assessment and contribute to branding, packaging, and presentation efforts.
** Assist in setting up and maintaining the accounting and inventory management software.
** Assist in bookkeeping and inventory management within our local shops.
** Support the management in accounting issues for the project and our local shop.
** Create draft agreements, contracts and other necessary documents.
** Assist in gathering content for social media, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
** Contribute to planning, organizing, and managing events and technical training workshops.
** Support daily administrative tasks and ad-hoc project needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow within a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate should be flexible and open to engaging in a wide range of activities and responsibilities. While extensive prior experience is not required, a strong willingness to learn, along with a positive and respectful attitude, is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

** Fluent in English and Georgian (written and spoken).
** Proficient in basic digital tools (e.g., email, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
** Some basic knowledge of Balance accounting software would be a plus.
** Strong organizational and time-management skills.
** Comfortable working with numbers and basic accounting tasks.
** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact logically and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
** Humble, curious, and open to feedback and new challenges.
** Interest in community development, traditional crafts, and local food systems is highly valued.
