Title: Identifying Trainers for Conducting Basic Entrepreneurship Training Course for RDYE Phase 2 Project

PROJECT BACKGROUND:
Mercy Corps has been working in Georgia since 2000, building productive, resilient, and equitable communities, with a focus on rural development, higher incomes and employment opportunities, and youth entrepreneurship. Mercy Corps Georgia is implementing the Rural Development through Youth Entrepreneurship - Phase 2 (RDYE 2) project for a duration of 36 months (October 2025 - September 2028).
The project is funded by Austrian International Partnership. The project contributors are MFI Scapp and Socar Georgia Petroleum.
The project aims to draw on a suite of proven and contextually tailored tools for sustainable rural development through market system development (MSD) and youth employment programming in following target 4 regions and above mentioned 21 municipalities.
RDYE project will support at least 1, 800 young people (out of which at least 50% female), including from vulnerable and marginalized groups (including those from remote areas, ethnic and religious minorities, IDPs, individuals with disabilities, and other youth disadvantaged based on social identity), to develop their entrepreneurial skills and capacity to create 65 sustainable, new and/or existing, agricultural and non-agricultural youth-led enterprises.
The project aims to increase the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills of rural youth, develop agricultural and non-agricultural value chains, and increase access to finances and markets. The key focus of the project activities will be to improve social and economic participation and well-being of youth and foster their entrepreneurial potential.
The project will pay special attention to girls and women, ethnic and religious minority youth, IDPs and youth from remote (mountainous) communities.
EVALUATION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
RDYE Phase 2 is seeking qualified trainers to conduct 2-day Basic Entrepreneurship Trainings for youth aged 18-35 residing in the project target municipalities. Advantage will be given to the trainers from target municipalities (listed above). 2 trainers will be selected per municipality, so in total 42 trainers will be appointed. The RDYE Project has already developed Basic Entrepreneurship Trainings materials with the support of experts and successfully used them during Phase 1.
These training courses serve as an entry-level component of the RDYE Phase 2 competitive selection process and aim to strengthen participants` basic entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. After the trainers are selected, one day training of trainers (ToT) will be conducted on the use of this Basic Entrepreneurship Training.
After completion of TOT, trainers in turn will conduct two-day Basic Entrepreneurship training in each target municipality (minimum 7 trainings per municipality, for a total of 1, 800 youth).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidates should:
** Assist project representatives in disseminating information about trainings;
** Support participant mobilization and awareness-raising activities;
** Plan and prepare assigned trainings in accordance with project guidance;
** Deliver 2-day Basic Entrepreneurship Training sessions;
** Ensure interactive and inclusive learning environments;
** Record and report on participant attendance and training progress;
** Work collaboratively with RDYE project staff;
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
** At least one year of experience delivering training sessions;
** Good understanding of entrepreneurship concepts;
** Fluency in Georgian (knowledge of Armenian and/or Azerbaijani is an asset);
** Strong communication and facilitation skills

NECESSARY REQUIRMENTS:
** Applicants preferably should be the representatives of target 21 municipalities.
** After the selection process, applicants should participate in one day training of trainers (ToT) conducted on the usage of this Basic Entrepreneurship Training curriculum.
** Applicants should have basic understanding of entrepreneurship.
** Applicants should have general knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The dates above may be modified at the sole discretion of RDYE project. Any changes will be published in an amendment to this RFP.
EVALUATION:
** Application Form / Annex 1: Does candidate`s proposal (Annex 1) include all information required and whether the information provided meets the requirements? Score - 35
** Motivation: Does motivation letter contain strong motivation topics from the side of candidate Score - 35
** Experience: Does the applicant have experience relevant to RFP? Does the candidate demonstrate strong capacity and expertise to execute RFP? Score - 30
EVALUATION AND BASIS FOR AWARD:
Selected applicants should meet the eligibility criteria stated in this RFP, should meet the technical, management/personnel, and corporate capability requirements, and are determined to represent the best value to RDYE project.
This RFP will use the tradeoff process to determine best value. That means that each applicant will be evaluated and scored against the evaluation criteria and evaluation sub-criteria, which are stated in the table below
