Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding

Location: Poti, Georgia
Working Hours: 09:00 - 18:00 (Monday to Friday)

Job Purpose:

To drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and developing existing accounts for international freight forwarding services. The Sales Manager will promote multimodal logistics solutions and work closely with Pricing and Operations to deliver competitive and reliable services.

Salary: $550-$650 fixed (depending on experience) + bonus as per agreement.

Duties/responsibilities:

** Develop and execute sales strategies for international freight forwarding services.
** Acquire new B2B customers and manage key client accounts.

Promote logistics solutions including:

** Sea freight (FCL / LCL)
** Air freight
** Rail and multimodal transport
** Prepare and present commercial offers and proposals in coordination with the Pricing team.
** Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with customers.
** Maintain strong relationships with shippers, exporters, and trading companies.
** Forecast sales volumes and contribute to route and pricing strategy discussions.
** Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
** Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve commercial issues.
** Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and client visits.

Skills"

** 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales.
** Proven ability to generate new business and manage customer portfolios.

Strong understanding of:

** International logistics operations
** Freight pricing structures
** INCOTERMS and shipping terms
** Experience working with global markets and overseas clients.
** Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
** Result-oriented mindset with strong ownership of targets.
** Fluent in Georgian and Russian; English is preferred.
