POSITION SUMMARY
The Revenue & Reservations Manager is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and occupancy through strategic pricing, inventory control, and effective reservations management. This role oversees the reservations team and ensures optimal distribution channel performance, accurate forecasting, and exceptional guest booking experience.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management:
** Develop and implement revenue strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy
** Analyze market demand, competitor pricing, and booking trends
** Manage rate structures across all distribution channels (OTA, GDS, direct, wholesale)
** Monitor and optimize inventory allocation and restrictions
** Conduct daily pick-up analysis and adjust pricing accordingly
** Prepare weekly and monthly revenue forecasts and reports
** Identify opportunities for upselling and ancillary revenue
** Manage OTA and channel manager performance
** Optimize content, rates, and availability across platforms
** Maintain PMS configuration and accuracy
** Support system upgrades and integrations
** Analyze segmentation and channel mix
** Provide recommendations to senior management
Reservations Management:
** Oversee day-to-day operations of the reservations department
** Ensure timely and accurate handling of all reservations and inquiries
** Monitor conversion rates and booking quality
** Maintain reservation systems and data accuracy
** Manage group room blocks and allocations
** Ensure adherence to booking policies and procedures
** Lead, train, and develop the reservations team
** Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews
** Ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
** 3-5+ years in hotel revenue or reservations management
** Experience with Opera PMS.
** Strong understanding of hotel distribution channels
** Bachelor`s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or any other related field.
** Fluent English is required.
** Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
** High sense of responsibility and punctuality
** Strong managerial, communication and interpersonal skills
** Self-motivated, smart, positive and energetic
** Detail oriented, able to work and make decisions independently
