Proxied is looking for a seasoned backend developer who enjoys building scalable systems.
You`ll be working primarily with Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript), with bonus points for GoLang experience. We value developers who understand Domain-Driven Design (DDD), functional programming, and object-oriented principles, and who have experience with both monorepo and microservice architectures.
What You`ll Do
** Design and maintain APIs using GraphQL, REST, tRPC, gRPC, and WebSockets
** Implement reliable data storage solutions, including relational databases, NoSQL (especially MongoDB), and columnar databases
** Optimize performance with caching and in-memory storage (~Redis/KV)
** Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to bring features from concept to production
Keep up with new trends and best practices in backend development
What You Need
** 6+ years of professional Node.js development experience
** Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (GoLang is a plus)
** Familiarity with DDD, functional, and OOP paradigms
** Experience working in monorepos and microservices
** Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (especially MongoDB), plus familiarity with columnar storage
** Comfortable with Redis for caching and session management
** Experience with GraphQL, REST, tRPC, gRPC, and WebSockets
** English proficiency at the B2-C1 level
