LEAF - Education Center, founded in 2008, supporting high school students and Bachelor`s students in gaining admission to top universities in the USA and Europe, is announcing a vacancy for the position of College Counselor.
LEAF collaborates with American, European, and Asian universities and serves as their official representative.
For many years, the organisation has been successfully assisting applicants with:
** Admission to international universities (Bachelor`s and Master`s programmes);
** Planning effective study strategies;
** Academic and career orientation for those planning to pursue education abroad.
Working Conditions:
** Location: D. Gamrekeli 19, Business Center, 4th floor N411, Tbilisi.
** Working hours: Full-time, 10:00-19:00 or 11:00-20:00 (on-site)
** Salary: Determined based on the candidate`s experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
** Providing individual consultations to high school students and Bachelor`s students regarding admission to universities in the USA, Europe and Asia;
** Analysing candidates` academic profiles, interests, goals, and opportunities;
** Advising students on the selection of suitable universities, considering academic background, budget, country, and career objectives;
** Conducting detailed research on university programmes and admission requirements;
** Conducting desk research to identify universities and academic programmes;
** Supporting the full application process, including coordination of application form completion, advising on the structure of recommendation letters and essays, preparation of required documentation, monitoring deadlines, and identifying scholarship and grant opportunities while informing candidates accordingly.
Qualification Requirements:
** A Bachelor`s degree (or an equivalent qualification obtained through an exchange programme) from a Europe or USA institution is preferable.
** Experience in a similar position is preferred.
** Strong knowledge of the US and European education systems, universities, and application processes is preferable;
** Full proficiency in English, both spoken and written;
** Excellent communication skills;
** Ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously;
