JSC Rustavi Azot, a member of the INDORAMA Group, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head of Labour Safety & Emergency Service (HSE) to lead and strengthen the company`s health, safety, fire protection, and emergency preparedness systems.

Location: Rustavi, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

Labour Safety & Compliance:

** Ensure full compliance with Georgian labour safety legislation, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, and the Company`s Integrated Management System (IMS).
** Develop, implement, and continuously improve occupational health and safety (OHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
** Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
** Ensure compliance with Fire Safety Audits and Labour Safety Audits.

Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness:

** Develop and implement fire safety measures, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures.
** Organize and conduct emergency drills and safety training sessions.
** Oversee the maintenance and readiness of fire-fighting and emergency equipment.
** Coordinate with internal emergency teams and external authorities when required.

Incident Investigation & Safety Performance:

** Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
** Analyze safety performance data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
** Develop and monitor safety KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
** Ensure proper regulatory reporting and documentation.

Audits, Inspections & Regulatory Liaison:

** Oversee internal and external fire and labour safety audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
** Maintain close cooperation with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and labour safety authorities.
** Ensure all safety documentation and records are properly maintained and up to date.

Continuous Improvement & Safety Culture:

** Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
** Recommend best practices, new technologies, and appropriate PPE.
** Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and international best practices.

ESG & Corporate Compliance:

** Support preparation of monthly ESG data and reports as required by the Corporate Office.
** Ensure compliance with Corporate and lender-mandated Environmental and Social Management Plans.

Training & Development:

** Develop and deliver safety and emergency response training programs.
** Conduct refresher trainings and evaluate their effectiveness.
** Enhance employee awareness and engagement in safety practices.

Incident Response & Crisis Management:

** Establish and manage structured incident and crisis response systems.
** Lead emergency response actions during incidents.
** Conduct post-incident reviews to improve response strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

** Higher education in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Safety, or a related field.
** Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in industrial or chemical manufacturing environments.
** Strong knowledge of Georgian labour safety legislation and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
** Proven experience in fire safety, emergency management, audits, and incident investigation.
** Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
** Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
