Our company is seeking a professional individual to join our team as a Route Development Specialist.
Purpose: The Route Development Specialist is responsible for researching, analyzing, and supporting the launch and optimization of scheduled flight routes. This role is analytical in nature and works closely with Route Development Managers, Revenue Management, and Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
** Research new scheduled destinations and market opportunities.
** Analyze demand, competition, seasonality, and traffic flows.
** Prepare route feasibility studies and supporting analyses (passenger forecast, revenue, costs).
** Support airport incentive negotiations and maintain airport data.
** Coordinate with Rostering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management.
** Monitor performance of launched routes (load factor, revenue, yields).
** Support optimization of sales channel mix.
** Prepare regular analytical reports and presentations for management.
Requirements:
** Prior experience in aviation, travel, consulting, or commercial analytics is preferred.
** Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
** Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
** Strong written and verbal communication skills.
** English and Georgian - required; Russian is an advantage.
