MICE Sales Manager
Role Description:
We are seeking a results-driven and creative MICE Sales Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will not just be selling; you will be architecting experiences. You will serve as the primary bridge between client vision and operational reality.
Your core focus will be transforming client briefs into winning business by designing unique MICE products, building complex and accurate event budgets, and crafting persuasive, high-quality proposals. You will own the sales cycle from initial inquiry to contract signature, ensuring our offerings are competitive, profitable, and innovative.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development & Curation:
** Proactively identify market trends and destination highlights to create new, sellable MICE products and packages
** Collaborate with vendors (hotels, transport, venues, AV) to negotiate exclusive rates and inclusions
** Translate complex logistical requirements into seamless, attractive event concepts
2. Proposal Management & Offer Preparation:
** Lead the end-to-end process of responding to RFPs and client inquiries
** Craft compelling, professional, and customized sales proposals and presentations
** Ensure all offers are technically feasible by consulting with operations/event management teams
Budgeting & Financial Strategy:
** Develop detailed, complex event budgets for clients
** Apply strategic pricing structures and manage profit margins
** Analyze post-event financial performance to refine future budgeting models
Business Development & Client Management:
** Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
** Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets
Qualifications and Requirements:
** Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in MICE sales
** Exceptional skills in budgeting, costing, and Excel
** Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
** Deep understanding of MICE logistics and industry trends
** Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
** Strong negotiation and creative problem-solving skills
