Position Overview:
The General Manager will oversee commercial and operational performance for a US-focused technical support and IT services business. This role includes full P&L accountability, leadership of sales and support operations, performance management, and alignment of all functional teams to revenue, quality, and efficiency goals. The ideal candidate has strong experience selling to US consumers and SMBs, leading cross-functional teams, and scaling high-volume, data-driven operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
** 5+ years in senior leadership (GM/COO/Head of Ops level) managing commercial + operational teams of 15+ people in a US-facing business
** Proven track record selling technical support, IT services, SaaS or software solutions to US consumers (B2C) and SMBs (B2B)
** Full P&L ownership - budgeting, forecasting, cost control, margin & unit economics optimization
** Hands-on expertise with: - CRM pipelines, automations & reporting - Dialing systems & routing logic (predictive/power dialers) - VOIP architecture, call recording & quality monitoring - Ticketing systems (Zendesk, Freshdesk, HubSpot etc.) - US lead-gen channels (paid ads, affiliates, warm transfers, remarketing)
** Deep knowledge of US funnel metrics: CAC, LTV, CPL, ROAS, ARPU, attribution, conversion rates
** Strong understanding of US compliance: TCPA, consent, recording rules, data protection
** Proven ability to scale operations fast while maintaining quality, compliance and profitability
** Hands-on, high-integrity leadership style with strong people management and coaching skills
** Fluent English + fluent Georgian
Key Responsibilities:
** Strategic Leadership & Business Growth - Define and execute the operating model for US-focused sales and support; translate strategy into KPIs and revenue plans; deliver weekly reporting on revenue, margins, CAC, conversions, and risks; ensure cross-team alignment.
** Full P&L Ownership - Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization; manage revenue growth and overall financial health; monitor key unit economics and performance indicators.
** Commercial Leadership (Sales & Marketing) - Oversee B2C and SMB B2B sales; develop sales scripts and compliance language for US communication standards; manage performance metrics including contact rates, close rates, ARPU, and revenue per lead; coordinate with marketing to align funnels, CPL, CAC, LTV, and ROAS.
** Operational Management - Direct day-to-day operations across sales, customer support, technical support, QA, and workforce management; set KPIs and processes; monitor execution, risks, and operational efficiency.
** Systems & Technology Oversight - Ensure effective CRM pipelines, automations, and reporting; supervise dialing and routing logic; maintain VOIP stability, call quality, and recordings; oversee ticketing systems, data integrity, and workflow reliability.
** Lead Generation & Marketing Oversight - Manage US lead channels including paid ads, affiliates, warm transfers, and remarketing; evaluate traffic quality using contactability, conversions, and LTV; optimize funnels, routing rules, and landing pages.
** Quality, Compliance & Risk - Maintain QA scoring models, compliance checks, and coaching cycles; ensure adherence to US regulations such as TCPA, consent rules, and recording standards; enforce internal data protection policies.
** Technical Support & Customer Experience - Ensure accurate troubleshooting and remote support; maintain SLAs, escalation flows, CSAT, and first-contact resolution; oversee SOPs, knowledge bases, and documentation.
** Vendor & Cost Optimization - Manage telecom, software, marketing, and operational vendors; assess cost-to-value; optimize expenses across tools and lead sources; negotiate improved pricing and performance.
** Cross-Functional Leadership & Scalability - Lead and develop managers and teams; support training, accountability, and performance culture; scale operations while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
