About the Role
As a Project Assistant, you will work closely with our project team to support a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the visibility, market access, and presentation of local products. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role ideal for someone looking to build practical skills in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and event management.
Key Responsibilities
** Assist with communications (email, phone) with local producers, partners, and other stakeholders.
** Support product assessment and contribute to branding, packaging, and presentation efforts.
** Help with basic bookkeeping and inventory management within our local shops.
** Assist in gathering content for social media, newsletters, and other marketing channels. ** Contribute to planning, organizing, and managing events and community activities.
** Support daily administrative tasks and ad-hoc project needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow within a collaborative, mission-driven environment. While previous experience is not required, a strong willingness to learn and a positive, respectful attitude are essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
** Fluent in English (written and spoken).
** Proficient in basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, social media). ** Strong organizational and time-management skills.
** Comfortable working with numbers and basic accounting tasks.
** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact confidently and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
** Humble, curious, and open to feedback and new challenges.
** Interest in community development, traditional crafts, and local food systems is highly valued.
