We are expanding our team and currently looking for an AML Specialist to join us.
Working Conditions:
** Working Place: Tbilisi, Georgia
** Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
Responsibilities/Duties:
** Develop, implement, and update AML, CTF, and sanctions policies and procedures.
** Define required documentation for client identification and verification (KYC).
** Respond to requests from FMS and the National Bank of Georgia in a timely manner.
** Report to regulators in line with legal requirements.
** Assess client risk and implement appropriate preventive measures.
** Conduct ongoing monitoring of client transactions and profiles.
** Identify and report suspicious transactions to FMS.
** Monitor PEPs and sanction lists; obtain director approval for high-risk relationships.
** Participate in new product development and AML risk assessment.
** Conduct AML training for staff or organize external training.
** Ensure proper verification of clients and transactions.
** Implement AML monitoring processes and maintain documentation.
** Ensure compliance with laws, internal policies, and corporate ethics.
** Collaborate with other departments to gather information and documentation.
** Follow safety, anti-discrimination, and equal treatment regulations.
** Perform additional tasks related to core responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or related field.
** Proven experience in AML/Compliance, preferably in financial services or VASP.
** Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
** Strong knowledge of AML, CTF, sanctions regulations, and KYC procedures.
** Experience liaising with regulators (FMS, National Bank of Georgia).
** Ability to assess risk, monitor transactions, and implement preventive measures.
** Working proficiency in English and Russian
