A Telephone Operator will serve as the main point of contact for incoming calls to the company; therefore, they must provide excellent customer service and create a positive impression that influences callers` decisions to engage with the company.
What will I be doing?
As a Telephone Operator, you will serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls to the company. A Telephone Operator is responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering inquiries, and offering appropriate solutions to meet callers` needs. Specifically, a Telephone Operator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
** Quickly convert inquiries into confirmed appointments or business opportunities
** Respond positively and professionally to incoming calls to generate potential leads
** Identify and forward relevant leads to the sales or appropriate department
** Handle all calls in a highly professional manner, ensuring accurate information is provided and callers` needs are met
** Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the company`s brand standards
** Respond promptly to guests via email
** Support the Front Office department during internal operational processes and maintain prompt telephone communication with other internal departments
** Send welcome letters to VIP guests
