Job Summary:
The Cyber Security Solutions Advisor plays a critical role in helping organizations assess their security posture and identify effective cyber security solutions. This role involves understanding client needs, recommending appropriate security technologies, and aligning solutions with business objectives and compliance requirements. The advisor acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
** Consult with clients to understand their security needs, risks, and business objectives.
** Recommend tailored cyber security solutions, including products and services.
** Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth in cyber security solutions.
** Manage the full cycle: prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
** Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and procurement teams.
** Stay up to date with the latest cyber security products, technologies, threats, and market trends.
** Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., solutions architects, engineers) to design and present tailored solutions.
** Conduct security assessments, gap analyses, and risk evaluations.
** Present and demonstrate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
** Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, compliance standards, and security technologies.
** Assist in creating RFP responses, security strategies, and deployment plans.
** Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and third-party partners to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions.
Preferred Attributes:
** Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
** Experience in sales, pre-sales or technical sales support.
** Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
** Ability to work independently and within crossfunctional teams
