Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in restaurant accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
** Handle accounting responsibilities specific to the restaurant industry, including cost control, inventory management, and revenue tracking.
** Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledgers, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
** Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing, and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and clients.
** Prepare and file tax returns (income, sales, payroll), ensuring compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.
** Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
** Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to laws and guidelines.
** Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and financial reports to government entities, including salary, profit, VAT, pension, statistical, annual financial, and property tax reports.
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance
** Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same position at an international company.
** Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
** Perfect command of English and Georgian. (Knowledge of the Chinese language will be a plus)
** Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
** Strong organizational and time management abilities.
** Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
