We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Purchasing Manager.
Duty Station: Tbilisi, Georgia.
Type of Appointment: Full-time.
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
** Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies in line with business goals.
** Manage the procurement of goods, materials, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
** Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build long-term relationships.
** Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure continuous supply.
** Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
** Ensures that all items received by the hotel are properly documented under the hotel`s purchasing and receiving procedures.
** Ensures that all storage areas are secure, clean, and properly organized.
** Analyze market trends and assess risks to reduce procurement costs.
** Performs any additional duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Requirements:
** Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
** Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
** Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
** Analytical mindset and strong decision-making capabilities.
