Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager - Agreements & Asset Management is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits. In addition, this role includes managing agreements (such as vendor contracts and employee agreements) and office assets, including tracking inventory, procurement, and distribution of office equipment. The HR Manager ensures that all HR policies and practices align with business goals and maintains efficient operations, fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
** Recruitment and Onboarding:
o Manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
o Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees and ensure they have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
o Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and define job descriptions for open positions.
** Employee Relations:
o Foster a positive work environment by resolving employee conflicts, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
o Serve as a point of contact for employees, offering support and advice on workplace issues.
o Promote employee engagement through regular communication, team-building initiatives, and recognition programs.
** Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
- Work with managers to identify performance gaps and implement development plans to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of employee development programs and training initiatives.
** Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage the company`s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Administer payroll and benefits enrollment, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Provide guidance on employee compensation, salary reviews, and bonus structures.
** Compliance and Legal Requirements:
- Ensure that the company complies with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle sensitive information in accordance with privacy and confidentiality laws.
- Oversee the implementation of policies related to employee conduct, workplace safety, and health regulations.
** HR Administration and Reporting:
- Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
- Prepare HR-related reports for management, including turnover rates, headcount, and other key HR metrics.
- Monitor HR metrics and make recommendations for improvements to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
** Organizational Development:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategies for workforce planning and organizational development.
- Lead initiatives that promote a positive company culture, diversity, and inclusion.
- Support leadership in implementing change management strategies and managing organizational transitions.
** Training and Development:
- Identify training and development needs and work with managers to create effective learning programs.
- Oversee training initiatives and ensure employees have access to opportunities that enhance their skills and career growth.
- Develop leadership training programs to build the next generation of company leaders.
** Agreement and Contract Management:
- Oversee the creation, review, and negotiation of agreements with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Manage employee agreements, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure contracts are tracked and renewed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure that agreements align with company goals and budgets.
** Asset and Inventory Management:
- Oversee the procurement, distribution, and tracking of office equipment, computers, and supplies, ensuring all employees are equipped with the tools they need.
- Manage asset inventory, including maintaining accurate records of office resources, ensuring timely updates of asset status, and conducting regular audits.
- Coordinate the return and redistribution of office assets during role changes, employee departures, or office relocations.
- Work with external vendors and suppliers to manage the procurement and maintenance of office furniture, technology, and other essential office resources.
** Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with IT to ensure employees have access to the necessary tools and resources, including hardware and software configurations.
- Work with Facilities and Operations teams to manage office space, furniture, and logistical needs.
- Support other departments by providing logistical and operational resources as needed to ensure smooth business functions.
Required Qualifications:
** Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role with experience in managing contracts and office assets.
** Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
** Experience managing vendor contracts and employee agreements.
** Knowledge of asset management, including inventory tracking and procurement.
** Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
** Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees at all levels and manage external vendor relationships.
** Proficiency in HR software (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and asset management tools.
** Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
** HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR.
** Experience with contract management systems or inventory tracking software.
** Familiarity with office space planning and asset management best practices.
** Strong analytical skills and experience preparing reports and performance metrics.
