JSC Georgian Card is looking for Senior Android Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
** Prioritize and organize tasks to maximize productivity and deliver high quality work on time;
** Understand project scope, project goals, product functionality, and desired features;
** Plan, develop and deliver high-quality increments alongside teammates for a product;
** Analyze and break features down into tasks to manage their priorities and deadlines;
** Design a system to match the existing architecture and improve it to accommodate changing demands and requirements;
** Build design components to support multiple projects;
** Coordinate with cross-functional teams and integrations points;
** Maintain existing software, improve quality and keep up with technological advancements;
** Participate in code reviews;
** Present technical ideas and solutions to a group of peers.
Qualifications:
** Proficiency with native Android application development (Using Kotlin - Jetpack Compose, Java will be a plus);
** Experience with high-performance UI development, including Custom Android controls and UI elements;
** Strong mobile system development skills (sensors, media, algorithms, threading, memory management, sync, networking, power);
** Good knowledge of Android application architecture and patterns;
** Familiarity with RESTful API and gRPC to connect Android applications to back-end services;
** Understanding of Google design principles and interface guidelines;
** Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git);
** Strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking skills;
** Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
** Ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively in Georgian and English.
