Action Against Hunger is pleased to announce an opening for the position of IT Specialist (part time/on call).
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia
1. Background
Action Against Hunger (AAH) - Spain, as part of the Action Against Hunger International network, is a non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-confessional and non-profit organisation that fights hunger and its root causes worldwide. It has been operating in the South Caucasus region since 1994 and its current programmes focus on the following areas: Food Security, Livelihoods, Agriculture, Economic and Rural Development.
At this time the Action Against Hunger (AAH) have an opening for the part-time/on call position of IT Specialist.
2. General Objective
The IT Specialist will be involved in IT needs of South Caucasus Mission. The duration of service is indefinite.
3. Tasks and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
** Providing IT Support to users remotely and onsite in Georgian and English
** Installing, Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows, Android, and iOS operating systems
** Installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
** Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting MikroTik and Ubiquiti Unifi networks devices and applications
** Coordinating with the organization`s IT Department in HQ, implementing policies and Digital Transformation
** Participating in IT related Procurements
4. Qualifications & Expereince Required
** General good knowledge of computer systems and networks
** Logical and analytical thinking
** Ability to work in own initiative and in teams
** Ability and willingness to self-learn new
** Experience or knowledge working with Microsoft 365, Endpoint Manager and Azure Active Directory
** Experience or knowledge with Network monitoring and NAS backup systems.
6. General Conditions
** Required start date: February 2025
** Duration of work: Indefinite
** Type of contract: Service
** Location of work: Tbilisi
** Fees: The application should include the proposed net daily or monthly rate for remuneration (salary).
** Payment: Payments will be made monthly upon the approval of the timesheet by Action Against Hunger
