Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding and building scalable applications, focusing on server-side logic, database interactions, and performance optimization.
Location: Tbilisi / (fully) remote
Work Schedule: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable (please specify your desired salary)
Key Responsibilities:
** Develop and maintain server-side components for web applications.
** Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
** Design and optimize databases to ensure scalability and reliability.
** Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
** Implement security and data protection protocols.
** Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
** Collaborate with the team to define project requirements and deliverables.
** Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
** 3+ years of experience in backend development.
** Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js or similar.
** Experience with databases such as SQL, MongoDB, etc.
** Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
** Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
** Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
** Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
** Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
** Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
** Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
** Familiarity with microservices architecture.
