Work schedule: Full time job (Monday-Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00)
Remuneration: Upon Agreement
General Requirements:
** Overall management of the project environmental activities.
** Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans, to ensure corporate sustainable development.
** Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, and conservation works.
** Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
** Ensure environmental procedures in compliance with environmental legislation of international regulation and local legislation.
** Liaise with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies.
** Carry out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce Company`s environmental risks and financial costs.
** Develop and implement environmental management systems.
** Organize and coordinate public hearings and consultations on environmental matters.
** Train and inform staff on environmental issues and responsibilities.
** Write environmental reports and provide to actual supervisor and/or relevant recipient.
** Prepare all the necessary environmental management plans and ensure receiving of the consent from the relevant authorities.
** Coordinate and inspect the environmental issues within the project.
** Attend the project implementation process and eliminate existing environmental problems.
** Oversee field examinations and report hazardous locations and materials
** Develop solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.
** Design and implement effective employee training programs.
** For the purpose of the project, perform research on the current environmental conditions and provide relevant information to the actual supervisor.
** Prepare clear and detailed written reports about field inspections.
** Implement spill prevention programs and hazardous waste regulations.
Essential Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
** Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
** Bachelor`s degree in relevant environmental subject.
** Minimum of 8 years on road projects in similar work environments
** Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and requirements.
