Job description:
As a Three.js Developer & 3D Modeler at "Money4you.financial" LLC you will be responsible for bringing static websites to life by integrating dynamic and interactive 3D elements using Three.js. Your primary responsibilities will include: Three.js Development: Develop interactive 3D experiences and animations for websites using the Three.js library, leveraging your expertise in JavaScript and WebGL to create smooth and visually stunning effects. 3D Modeling: Create custom 3D models and assets optimized for web-based applications, including environments, objects, characters, and props, tailored to project requirements and design specifications.
** Texturing and Material Creation: Apply textures and create materials to enhance the realism and visual appeal of 3D models, ensuring compatibility with Three.js shaders and rendering techniques.
** Optimization: Optimize 3D models and assets for performance and efficiency in web environments, considering factors such as polygon count, texture resolution, and LOD (Level of Detail) techniques.
** Responsive Design: Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless integration of 3D content across various devices and screen sizes, optimizing performance without sacrificing visual quality.
** Collaboration: Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and project managers to translate design concepts and requirements into interactive 3D elements, contributing to the overall user experience and project goals.
** Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Three.js scenes to identify and resolve issues related to performance, rendering artifacts, and cross-browser compatibility, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Requirements and skills:
** Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Digital Arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
** Proven experience developing interactive 3D experiences for the web using Three.js, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
** Proficiency in JavaScript and WebGL, with a deep understanding of Three.js capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
** Strong knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, as well as texturing and material creation techniques. Experience with responsive web design principles and frameworks, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across devices.
** Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex 3D scenes for performance and visual quality.
** Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
** Familiarity with other web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and WebGL frameworks.
** Experience with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development. Passion for emerging technologies and a desire to push the boundaries of interactive web experiences.
