Job Description:

CENN is looking for a Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign Promotions Manager for the program Waste Management Technologies in Regions, Georgia.

The Promotions Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign in the project`s target areas in cooperation with the program team.

The Promotions Manager must use a range of different channels to spread information about the campaign among the program`s stakeholders, build relationships with local partners and manage Keep Georgia Beautiful-related campaign activities and events.

Brief Information about the Campaign:

Keep Georgia Beautiful is a large-scale environmental campaign initiated within the Waste Management Technologies in Regions, Phase II (WMTR II) program. It aims to clean littered areas and maintain their cleanliness in cooperation with the private, public and civil society sectors. The WMTR II program is implemented in the regions of Kakheti and Shida Kartli, Adjara Autonomous Republic and Tbilisi. The Keep Georgia Beautiful campaign calls for private companies, non-governmental and governmental organizations, local residents, and other stakeholders to help develop a responsible attitude and to implement green activities in everyday life in society.

Within the Keep Georgia Beautiful campaign, companies, organizations, and individuals interested in cooperating can select a specific area, be it a roadside section, a nearby park, a stadium or other area, and assume responsibility for its care. With the support of the program, initial cleaning of the area will take place, and a sign will be installed to inform the public about the adoption of the area by the specific organization/person, who will maintain the area`s cleanliness by cleaning it up at least once a month.

Specific Responsibilities:

** Development, implementation and monitoring of Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign marketing and implementation plan, in cooperation with the Communication and Outreach Team of the program
** Communication with stakeholders - Private Sector, International Institutions, Governmental Structures (National, Regional, Local), NGOs, schools, etc. - to promote and popularize the Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign, attract new partners and increase the number of KGB members by involving new organizations in the campaign
** Organization of different events in Tbilisi and the program`s target regions for the members of the Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign
** Organization of special creative outreach activities in Tbilisi and the program`s target regions for different stakeholders to attract new members to the Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign
** Communication with mass media to spread Keep Georgia Beautiful Campaign information to the broader public.

Necessary Qualifications:

** Education: Minimum of a post-graduate degree in social sciences, environmental sciences, ICT (information and communication technologies), or education management.
** Experience: Minimum of 3 years working experience in communication and outreach and/or in managerial positions in international organizations or development projects, or international working experience.
** Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English (other languages will be considered an advantage).
** Abilities and Skills: Demonstrable organizational, analytical, communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills. Solid skills in research and reporting. Proven typing ability and knowledge of modern office equipment and procedures. Proven ability of operating computers (word-processing, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, e-mail, etc.). Ability to develop partnerships with a wide range of organizations and local governments.
** Personal characteristics - active, open-minded, good management skills, friendly, flexible, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
