We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with a proven track record of delivering engineering projects for oil and gas international majors (e.g., BP, SOCAR similar). In this role, you will oversee technical execution, ensure strict adherence to international safety and engineering standards, and manage multidisciplinary interfaces across regional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
** Major Project Execution: Coordinate, schedule, and monitor engineering packages specifically tailored to the rigorous technical and gate-review processes of international oil companies (IOCs).
** Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs and operations strictly comply with global industry codes (such as API, ASME, ISO), environmental regulations, and client-specific engineering practices.
** Interface Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact between engineering contractors, procurement teams, fabricators, and the client`s project management team.
** Document & Change Control: Manage Technical Queries (TQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Management of Change (MOC) procedures to IOC standards.
** HSE Leadership: Promote a zero-harm culture, ensuring all engineering deliverables incorporate inherently safer design principles and meet stringent client health, safety, and environmental benchmarks.
Requirements and Skills:
** Education: Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
** Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct project engineering experience executing upstream, midstream, or downstream projects specifically for oil and gas international majors.
** Technical Standards: Deep familiarity with international standards (e.g., API 520/521, ASME B31.3) and the stage-gate project delivery frameworks commonly utilized by global energy majors.
** Software Competency: Proficiency with industry design tools (e.g., AutoCAD) and project controls software like Primavera P6.
** Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and interface management capabilities to handle diverse, global stakeholders.
