AI-Native Software Engineer
This is not a traditional programming role.
We already use AI coding agents extensively in our development process. We`re looking for someone who can understand the bigger technical picture, make strong decisions, turn requirements into clear technical tasks, guide AI agents, and verify that what gets built actually works as intended.
This role combines software engineering judgment, system architecture, and technical project management.
AI can generate code quickly. We need someone who can decide what should be built, how it should work, and whether the final result is actually correct and production-ready.
What You`ll Do
** Turn business and product requirements into clear technical requirements, specifications, and tasks.
** Break complex projects into structured technical work for AI coding agents.
** Define how different parts of the system should work together.
** Prepare clear instructions and technical specifications for AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools.
** Review AI-generated code and solutions for logic, quality, security, scalability, and completeness.
** Identify technical risks, edge cases, dependencies, and missing requirements.
** Understand how a change in one part of the platform may affect other systems.
** Coordinate technical work across product, engineering, infrastructure, and external integrations.
** Keep technical priorities, dependencies, blockers, and risks clear.
** Ensure critical areas such as payments, wallets, databases, APIs, security, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations are designed correctly.
** Decide when AI-generated work is sufficient and when deeper engineering review is required.
** Help investigate technical problems and production incidents.
** Work closely with product, engineering, and management on technical decisions.
What We`re Looking For
You don`t need to be someone who wants to spend the entire day writing code.
We`re looking for someone who:
** Has strong experience in system architecture, Technical Project Management, Technical Product Management, or engineering management.
** Has enough technical depth to understand and challenge engineering decisions.
** Understands modern backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations.
** Can confidently read and review code, technical documentation, database schemas, API documentation, and system designs.
** Understands production environments and can identify risks before they become incidents.
** Has practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI agents.
** Can translate business requirements into precise technical instructions.
** Can manage technical dependencies across multiple parts of a platform.
** Is comfortable making technical decisions and challenging solutions when something doesn`t make sense.
** Thinks about the whole system, not only individual features.
** Can clearly separate what is known, what is assumed, and what still needs to be investigated.
What Matters Most
** This role is much more about technical judgment than coding speed.
** AI can write code.
We need the person who can answer:
** What should we build?
** How should we build it?
** How should the different systems work together?
** What dependencies are we missing?
** What could go wrong?
** Is the AI-generated solution actually correct?
** Is it secure, scalable, and ready for production?
Strong Advantage
Experience with gaming, fintech, payments, wallets, transactional platforms, or other real-money systems is a strong advantage.
We`re looking for someone who can combine technical expertise, project ownership, system thinking, and AI-native development to help us build faster without compromising quality.
