Position: Night Auditor
Department: Front Office
Location: Batumi, Georgia
Reports to: Front Office Manager
The role: Night Auditor
A Night Auditor is responsible for maintaining the professional financial and operational standards of the hotel by ensuring accurate end-of-day procedures, reviewing reports, investigating discrepancies, and supporting smooth overnight operations.
The Night Auditor will:
** Ensure accurate and timely completion of the night audit and end-of-day procedures.
** Review daily takings, reports, and system records for accuracy.
** Edit and complete required financial and operational reports.
** Investigate and report any discrepancies or anomalies.
** Maintain professional financial standards throughout the hotel.
** Support the Night Manager with overnight systems and procedures.
** Assist with emergency situations and ensure smooth overnight operations.
** Work closely with Finance and Front Office to resolve issues.
** Respond professionally to Guest enquiries and requests during the night.
** Maintain accurate records and follow hotel standards.
** Participate in required training, meetings, and hotel programs.
** Perform other duties as assigned by management.
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed:
Experience & Skills
** Previous experience in Night Audit, Finance, Front Office, or a similar hotel role is preferred.
** Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
** Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computer systems.
** Understanding of hotel financial procedures and end-of-day reporting.
** Strong communication and customer-service skills.
** Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure.
** Professional approach to Guest enquiries and emergency situations.
** Excellent grooming and professional standards.
** Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills.
** Positive, flexible, and customer-focused attitude.
