The role: Bar Manager
A Bar Manager manages the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior Guest experience and is in accordance with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages. Specifically, a Bar Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
** Maintain an efficient and high-quality bar service while ensuring excellent guest service standards are consistently met.
** Ensure the bar outlet is properly set up and operated according to established hotel standards and procedures.
** Ensure full knowledge of all beverages, including recipes, preparation methods, presentation, and service standards.
** Train, supervise, and evaluate Team Members to maintain high standards of service, performance, presentation, and professionalism.
** Monitor staff performance, provide regular feedback and support professional development through training and development plans.
** Manage staff attendance, absences, and shortages effectively to ensure smooth bar operations.
** Ensure appropriate delegation of responsibilities and effective teamwork within the bar operation.
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed:
Experience & Skills:
** Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or in a supervisory role.
** Strong customer service, guest relations, and problem-solving skills.
** Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
** Good knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and bar operations.
** Knowledge of service standards and licensing regulations.
** Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle demanding guests.
** Fluent in English and Georgian.
** Cash handling experience with a professional and reliable approach.
