Position: Civil / Site Engineer
Reporting Line: Project Manager
Location: Tbilisi
Job Type: Full Time / 1 year valid contract with possibility for further extension
Main Position Responsibilities:
** Monitor day-to-day site activities.
** Ensure construction works comply with architectural drawings and specifications.
** Verify dimensions, levels, finishes, and materials before installation.
** Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
** Maintain site records and daily reports.
** Track progress and prepare status updates.
** Assist in preparation of as-built drawings.
** Document site instructions and variations.
Professional requirements:
** 8-20 years of work experience in civil / construction engineering /construction supervision / hands on-site experience
** Strong background in Superstructure and Fit-out / Finishing Works (Project scope breakdown: ~70% Superstructure & Fit-out / ~30% Infrastructure & Civil Works)
** Technical Focus: Strong background in Superstructure and Fit-out / Finishing Works (Project scope breakdown: ~70% Superstructure & Fit-out / ~30% Infrastructure & Civil Works).
** Technical Proficiency: Ability to read, interpret, and cross-check architectural and structural blueprints to ensure precise site execution.
** Contractor Supervision: Act on behalf of the Employer to oversee, manage, and direct contractors, providing supervisor-level guidance whenever required.
** Reporting: High discipline in tracking progress and preparing detailed quality and progress reports.
** Role Type: Predominantly site-based (heavy presence required in the field).
Qualification requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
** Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
** Knowledge of construction methods and building materials.
** Understanding of building codes and regulations.
** AutoCAD proficiency.
** Knowledge of BIM/Revit (preferred).
** Microsoft Office proficiency.
** Understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
** Strong written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English.
