Key Responsibilities
** Oversee and ensure the accurate recording of all financial transactions based on primary documentation.
** Calculate monthly and annual taxes, prepare and submit tax declarations through the Revenue Service portal, and ensure compliance with VAT invoicing requirements.
** Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
** Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the National Statistics Office.
** Review and authorize bank payment orders prior to final approval.
** Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
** Oversee account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
** Supervise payroll accounting in close cooperation with the HR department.
** Ensure full compliance with local tax legislation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
** Maintain and continuously improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
** Proven experience in a similar Senior Accountant role.
** Strong knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting standards.
** Experience working with external auditors and tax authorities.
** Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
** Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
** Experience working with the ORIS accounting system.
** Good command of English, both written and spoken.
