Head of Consumer Electronics Business Unit
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

We are developing three consumer electronics business lines in the Georgian market:

** Home appliances — major and small household appliances
** Client devices — laptops, PCs, monitors, peripherals
** Mobile devices — smartphones, tablets, wearables, and accessories

We are looking for a leader to take full ownership of these business lines — from building the vendor portfolio to delivering gross margin targets. The primary focus will be the development of the home appliances category.

Key Responsibilities:

** Build and develop the vendor portfolio: attract new manufacturers and traders, negotiate distribution agreements, expand the SKU matrix, and maintain long-term relationships with existing brands
** Own the P&L of the business unit: revenue, gross margin, inventory turnover, pricing, and credit policy
** Lead the sales team: set targets, monitor performance, develop sales managers, and scale the team when needed
** Develop category strategy: brand positioning, product portfolio, and target sales channels in Georgia (retail chains, specialty retail, marketplaces, corporate clients)
** Develop joint business plans with vendors: marketing activities, MDF, partner training, sell-out programs, in-store promotions
** Personally manage key retail chains and strategic partners in Georgia, especially during new brand launches and key negotiations
** Analyse market trends and competitors and adjust assortment and commercial terms accordingly
** Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, finance, and marketing teams

What We Are Looking For:

** 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics / home appliances distribution or retail as a product manager, category manager, or business unit head
** Strong knowledge of the Georgian consumer electronics market, with active relationships across local retail chains and sales channels
** Existing relationships with vendors and/or traders in one or more of the relevant categories, with the ability and willingness to bring them to Elcore
** Strong understanding of distribution economics: margin, inventory turnover, credit lines, rebates, MDF, retro-bonuses
** Experience managing a sales team of 3+ people
** Experience negotiating with manufacturers at country manager level or above
** Hands-on experience with CRM, ERP systems, and Excel/BI analytics tools
** Fluent Georgian and Russian; English at B2 or higher (for vendor negotiations)

Nice to Have:

** Deep expertise in home appliances (priority category)
** Experience launching a new brand with a distributor in Georgia from scratch to sustainable revenue
** Experience working with regional offices of global vendors (Bosch/BSH, Haier, Midea, Samsung, LG, etc.)
