KPMG Georgia is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Legal Manager.
OPPORTUNITY TYPE: Full-Time
WORKPLACE: Tbilisi, Georgia
WHAT YOU`LL BE DOING:
** M&A transaction structuring and support. Drafting of mortgages, option agreements, pledges, disclosure letters, joint ventures, etc;
** Complex legal advice on pre-, post-closing restructuring projects;
** Team management in legal due diligence assignments and corporate procedures (business set-up and day-to-day support);
** Legal consulting on various issues commercial law of Georgia;
** Communication with clients and maintaining successful client relationships;
** Coaching and performance management of junior staff;
** Monitoring quality of services and advice;
** Participation in marketing activities of the firm;
ABOUT YOU:
** At least 6+ years of experience in Big 4 or reputable law firm;
** Strong academic skills in Georgian business law;
** Proven experience in corporate/M&A, including transaction documents drafting and negotiations
** support;
** Strong ability to manage workload, priorities, and deadlines;
** Proven experience in leading teams and developing people;
** Fluent English, Georgian, knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
** Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
** LL.M. degree is an advantage.
