Chief Accountant at SLS Alliance in our office in Rustavi city
Mission: To ensure transparent, accurate, and timely financial and accounting operations at the manufacturing facility by overseeing key financial processes (accounting, taxation, cost control, cash flow) in compliance with Georgian legislation and international standards.
Key Requirements
** 3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
** Upper Intermediate proficiency in Russian (B2)
** Strong knowledge of Georgian tax law (VAT, profit tax, payroll taxes).
** Familiarity with IFRS and local accounting standards.
** Expertise in cost accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
** Proficiency with accounting software/ERP (1C).
Key Responsibilities:
** Supervise daily bookkeeping (invoices, payments, bank transactions).
** Check and approve accounting entries prepared by staff.
** Control payroll, taxes, and mandatory contributions.
** Monitor cash flow (bank balances, payments due, receivables).
** Track production-related costs (materials, labor, overheads).
** Reconcile accounts (suppliers, customers, banks).
** Prepare daily/weekly financial summaries for management.
** Ensure compliance with Georgian tax laws and IFRS (if required).
** Maintain communication with tax authorities, auditors, and banks.
** Guide, train, and support the accounting team.
