We are a small E-commerce company based in Germany, looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team on a remote basis. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility and has a deep understanding of the German e-commerce landscape.
Your Responsibilities:
** Managing bookkeeping for our German e-commerce operations.
** Handling VAT (USt.) compliance and ensuring all transactions align with German accounting standards.
** Reconciling accounts from various sales channels (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, eBay) and payment providers (PayPal, Stripe).
** Preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
Requirements
** Experience: Proven track record in financial accounting specifically for German E-commerce companies.
** Knowledge: Familiarity with German tax regulations and accounting software (e.g., DATEV, Lexware, or similar).
** Languages: English - Fluent (for internal communication); German - Basic to Intermediate (ability to read invoices and official documents is essential).
** Self-Management: Highly organized and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Working Conditions:
Salary: €15 per hour.
Workload: Approximately 20 hours per month.
Location: Fully Remote.
Flexibility: You manage your own schedule - as long as deadlines are met, you decide when to work.
