UHY Georgia LLC, a member of UHY International—a worldwide network of independent member firms providing audit, accounting, tax and consulting services, is announcing a vacancy for an Audit Assistant (A1).
UHY International Established in 1986 and based in London, is a leading network of independent accounting and consulting firms with offices in over 320 major business centres across more than 99 countries.
Key Responsibilities:
** Examination with the results of previous audits, in order to understand the processes that are specific for this particular client;
** Reconciliation of account balances with credit institutions in the accounting client with the data bank;
** Check for the balance sheet date of certain assets and the accuracy of the reflection of their value;
** Confirmation of an accurate and complete list of vendors;
** Study of the inventory methods used by the client;
** Conducting a test of inventory;
** Testing of existing processes and controls;
** Be responsible for the audit of separate sections (fixed assets; cash and cash equivalents, loans and borrowings, income statement, items, etc.)
Requirements:
** A university degree/student in Finance/Economics/Accounting
** Fluent in English and Georgian, knowledge of Russian will be an asset;
** Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint);
** Good analytical skills and the ability to defend your point of view;
** Attention to details and readiness to work under tight deadlines;
