ILARIA is seeking a QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) for a partner company.
** Work format: Full-time, on-site
** Location: Tbilisi, Saburtalo district
** Working days: Monday - Friday
** Working hours: 10:00 - 19:00
** Salary: 3 500 - 4 500 GEL (Net)
** Number of openings: 1
Key Responsibilities:
Software Testing & Quality Assurance:
** Perform and lead both manual and automated testing of software applications;
** Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, API, and integration tests;
** Ensure high product quality through thorough validation of features and releases.
Test Design & Automation:
** Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites;
** Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA processes;
** Continuously improve test coverage through automation.
Data & Database Validation:
** Validate business logic through direct database testing;
** Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and consistency;
** Analyze and validate financial transactions, balances, and trading records at the database level.
Defect Management & Reporting:
** Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools;
** Manage the full defect lifecycle, including prioritization and resolution follow-up;
** Provide clear and structured reporting on testing results and quality metrics.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
** Review product requirements and provide early QA input during planning and design phases;
** Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to ensure quality alignment;
** Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards;
** Work effectively within a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
Leadership & Mentorship:
** Mentor and support junior and mid-level QA engineers;
** Promote QA best practices and a quality-driven culture within the team.
Requirements:
** 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance;
** Strong hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Test Automation;
** Solid experience in Database Testing, including:
** Writing and executing SQL queries;
** Validating data accuracy and consistency;
** Verifying financial data such as trade calculations, balances, and transaction records;
** Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar);
** Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices;
** Experience with API testing;
** Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar);
** Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
** Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA processes and deliverables.
Nice to Have:
** Experience in financial, trading, or blockchain-based systems;
** ISTQB Advanced Level certification;
** Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests;
** Experience in performance and/or security testing.
