A Velocity Muse Creative Agency is seeking a talented and tech-savvy Video Editor (Remote) to create engaging short-form video content for international clients, including events, awards programmes, conferences, and corporate brands.
This role is ideal for someone who blends strong creative editing skills with AI-powered video tools to deliver high-quality content efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
** Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
** Produce promotional content for: Corporate events and conferences
- Awards programmes
- Client companies and brand campaigns
** Use AI video editing and creation tools (e.g. CapCut, Opus Clips, and similar platforms) to:
- Repurpose long-form content into high-performing short clips
- Generate captions and highlights
- Speed up editing workflows
** Add captions, music, light motion graphics, and basic effects
** Optimise videos for each platform (format, length, pacing)
** Work with raw footage, interviews, event recordings, and stock material
** Collaborate remotely with the marketing and content team
** Implement feedback and revisions within agreed timelines
Requirements:
** Proven experience as a video editor, particularly for social media content
** Practical experience with AI video editing tools such as:
** CapCut
** Opus Clips
** Descript, VEED, or similar platforms
** Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
** Fluent English is essential, as you will work with companies and clients abroad
** Strong understanding of short-form video trends and audience engagement
** Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
** Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
** Access to your own editing equipment and software
Nice to Have:
** Experience with event, conference, or awards-related content
** Animated subtitles or light motion graphics skills
** Understanding of British and international B2B audiences, especially LinkedIn
** Experience working with remote or agency teams
Role Details:
