Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), on behalf of a leading shopping mall operator, is announcing a vacancy for the position of shopping mall Director.
Position Overview
The Shopping Mall Director is responsible for the overall performance and management of a large-scale shopping mall, with a strong focus on financial results, commercial strategy, tenant occupancy and retention, operational excellence, and a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Development:
** Define and execute the shopping mall`s business strategy to drive revenue growth and market positioning;
** Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Management:
** Lead budgeting, financial planning, and performance management (OPEX / CAPEX, P&L);
** Ensure financial discipline, cost optimization, and achievement of financial targets.
Commercial Performance & Tenant Management:
** Oversee leasing performance, tenant mix optimization, and occupancy levels;
** Maintain strong tenant relationships and monitor rent collection performance.
Operations & Technical Oversight:
** Ensure efficient operation of the mall`s infrastructure, systems, and outsourced services;
** Lead incident management, risk mitigation, and operational continuity across the facility.
Marketing, Brand & Customer Experience:
** Drive marketing strategy and initiatives to increase footfall, sales, and brand value;
** Ensure a high-quality customer experience and continuous service improvement.
People Leadership & Governance:
** Lead and develop the management team, fostering a high-performance culture;
** Ensure compliance with legislation, internal policies, and corporate governance standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field (Master`s degree is an advantage);
** Minimum 7 years of senior management experience, preferably in shopping malls, retail real estate, hospitality, or service-oriented environments;
** Strong financial and P&L management experience;
** Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
** Proven ability to manage complex operations and multi-functional teams;
** High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism;
** Fluency in English and Russian is required.
