What awaits you:
** Responsibility for the analysis, consulting and implementation of customer requirements regarding architecture, best practices, methods, standards and concepts for the realisation of software solutions within the system landscapes in the area of Java, Spring Boot or Quarkus.
** Support of complex IT transformations and projects
** Deepening acquired knowledge and actively contributing to our team, e.g. by exploring new topics and technologies
** Great creative freedom and realisation of your own ideas
** Independent and autonomous conception and implementation of complex software solutions on the basis of current technology stacks and agile procedures
** Technical and professional support in the development of new product and solution ideas
** Ensuring the quality of our software solutions, e.g. through code reviews
** Developing new topics and technologies, deepening acquired knowledge and actively contributing to our team
** Responsibility for the continuous improvement of the development process in the team
What we expect from you:
** Personal Background: You have a degree in (Business) Informatics, a related field, comparable courses of study or trainings. You have profound practical experience in Java software development, working confidently with standard frameworks and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
** Quality Mindset: You enjoy complex development tasks and varied projects. You`re passionate about software development and maintain high quality standards in your work. You apply JUnit and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure reliability and maintainability.
** Tech Know-how: You have initial experience with Kubernetes and AWS services like Lambda, EKS, IAM, and SQS. You work confidently with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions or similar tools, and are familiar with Terraform for infrastructure management. You actively use Maven, and tools like Confluence and Jira are part of your daily routine.
** Enthusiasm: You have experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and enjoy working in a collaborative, independent setup. You bring a "You build it, you run it" mentality and take ownership of your work.
** Let`s Talk: You have very good knowledge in both written and spoken English (B2 level or higher). Good knowledge of German is an advantage, as Exxeta LLC mainly supports German projects of Exxeta AG in Germany
** Nice to Have: Experience with Rust, or AWS DynamoDB. Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace, software architecture principles.
