The role: Restaurant Manager
Restaurant Manager is responsible on leadership, direction and organization of outlet operations, to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Restaurant Manager will be leading Nephele Sky Bar which is a sophisticated rooftop bar and restaurant located on the 20th floor of the Hilton Batumi Hotel in Batumi, Georgia. It offers panoramic views of the Black Sea, the Adjara Mountains, and the vibrant cityscape. The venue combines modern design with a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual outings and special occasions.
You`ll be responsible for:
As Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
** Guest Experience & Satisfaction: Ensure excellent food and beverage quality, oversee service standards, and resolve guest complaints promptly.
** Commercial Acumen: Partner with Commercial and Operations Leadership to drive venue commercial success.
** Team Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, train, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
** Financial Management: Monitor costs, control inventory, and ensure the department meets budget and profitability goals.
** Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, maintenance, and cleanliness to ensure smooth functioning.
** Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with safety and sanitation standards for both guests and employees.
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed:
Experience & Skills:
** Ideally 2 to 3 years of experience in a senior supervisory or managerial role within HORECA.
** Experience of managing, training, and leading a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
** Strong background in customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction and resolving complaints efficiently.
** Experience in overseeing daily operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.
** Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability while maintaining quality service.
** Experience in menu planning, creating promotional campaigns, and tracking market trends in food and beverages.
** Experience coordinating special events or promotions, particularly in a high-end hospitality setting.
** Strong skills in resolving issues quickly, making decisions under pressure, and ensuring smooth operations.
