ArcticBlu Capital (the "ArcticBlu" or the "firm") is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Investment Officer.

We are looking for an outstanding investment professional to join our team and work directly with the CEO on portfolio management and research.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Duty Station: 25, Shavishvili Street, Tbilisi, Georgia
Working Hours: 40 working hours/week (Monday-Friday)
Other terms: 6 months` probation period, subject to compensation

Position Overview

ArcticBlu Capital is seeking an Investment Officer to participate in all aspects of the investment process—from macro analysis and sector selection down to individual security research and position management. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to generate investment ideas, conduct fundamental research, and contribute to portfolio construction and monitoring. This position is essential in driving the firm`s investment performance and delivering value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Macro Analysis & Sector Selection

** Monitor macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, and global market trends
** Translate macro developments into actionable sector and portfolio implications
** Analyze market flows, liquidity conditions, and positioning data alongside fundamental factors
** Identify growth sectors and thematic investment opportunities across US equities

Fundamental Research

** Conduct in-depth company analysis: business model assessment, competitive positioning, and industry dynamics
** Perform financial statement analysis, including revenue drivers, margin trends, and cash flow generation
** Build and maintain valuation models; identify catalysts and risk factors
** Prepare investment memoranda and present investment cases to senior management

Fixed Income Analysis

** Perform yield curve analysis and monitor interest rate dynamics
** Analyze fixed income instruments and their role in multi-asset portfolio construction
** Assess credit risk and duration management considerations

Portfolio Support

** Generate and defend investment ideas across US equities
** Prepare portfolio updates, performance attribution, and risk reports
** Leverage technology and AI research tools to streamline and improve research processes
** Support the CEO in day-to-day portfolio management activities

Required Qualifications and Skills

** 2-3 years of experience in investments, equity/fixed income research, or investment banking
** Understanding of macroeconomic dynamics and how they drive sector performance
** Understanding of fixed income markets and yield curve dynamics
** Ability to analyze market flows, liquidity conditions, and positioning alongside company fundamentals
** Ability to build an investment case from top-down themes to bottom-up valuation
** Fluency in English (C1/C2), including written and verbal communication skills
** Proficiency in Excel and AI research tools; Python is a plus
** Genuine market awareness—you follow markets because you`re interested, not because you have to
** Accuracy and attention to detail
** Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
** Personal investing experience is a plus
