As of December 15, 2025, for the purpose of implementing the English-language educational program in Medicine at the School of Medicine of East-West University, a competition is announced for a total of 22 full-time academic positions:
Available Positions:
Professor - 8 positions:
** 4 positions in Clinical Sciences
** 4 positions in Life Sciences
Associate Professor - 8 positions:
** 4 positions in Clinical Sciences
** 4 positions in Life Sciences
Assistant Professor - 4 positions:
** 2 positions in Clinical Sciences
** 2 positions in Life Sciences
Assistant - 2 positions (Life Sciences).
Required Documents
** Copy of an identity card;
** Curriculum Vitae (CV) indicating a list of published scientific works;
** Document confirming higher education;
** Document confirming a relevant academic doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification (for degrees obtained abroad, candidates must submit a recognition document issued by the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement);
** Certificate confirming relevant clinical practice;
** Certificate confirming teaching experience;
** Document confirming experience in delivering lectures in English (if available) or an internationally recognized certificate confirming English language proficiency at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert, EnglishScore, etc.);
** State certificates in permitted clinical specialties;
** Certificate issued by the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirming no conviction for crimes against sexual freedom and inviolability, and a certificate confirming no deprivation of professional rights (submission of these certificates is mandatory only for candidates advancing to the second stage of the competition).
Academic Requirements - Clinical Sciences
** Professor: minimum 6 years of teaching experience and 9 years of clinical experience;
** Associate Professor: minimum 3 years of teaching experience and 5 years of clinical experience;
** Assistant Professor: minimum 3 years of clinical experience;
** Assistant: doctoral student in a clinical specialty.
Academic Requirements - Life Sciences
** Professor: minimum 6 years of teaching experience;
** Associate Professor: minimum 3 years of teaching experience;
** Assistant Professor: minimum 3 years of teaching experience;
** Assistant: doctoral student in the relevant research field.
Selection Process
Candidates will be evaluated by a selection committee, which includes:
** Preliminary evaluation of submitted documentation;
** Interview;
** Final decision.
