Our company is seeking professional individuals to join our team as a Route Development Manager.
Purpose: To identify, evaluate, and develop profitable new routes and network opportunities. The Route Development Manager conducts market research, analyzes traffic trends, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and supports strategic decision-making to optimize the airline`s network and ensure sustainable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
** Conduct market research to identify new route opportunities, forecast demand, and assess potential profitability.
** Analyze traffic flows, competitor capacity, pricing strategies, and seasonal patterns across target markets.
** Develop route proposals and feasibility studies, including revenue forecasts, cost modeling, and risk assessments.
** Maintain ongoing relationships with airports, tourism boards, government authorities, and aviation partners to negotiate incentives and build strategic partnerships.
** Monitor existing route performance, produce regular reports, and recommend adjustments to schedules, capacity, or pricing.
** Participate in commercial planning cycles and contribute to the airline`s long-term network development strategy.
** Represent the airline at aviation forums, conferences, and industry meetings as required.
Requirements:
** University degree in Business, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
** Minimum 2 years of experience in route development, network planning, aviation analytics, or commercial strategy (airline or airport experience preferred).
** Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market and traffic data.
** Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Georgian; any additional languages are an advantage.
** Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about aviation.
