About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to establish and lead a new team focused on international debt collection. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, and managing 2-3 credit controllers, ensuring effective collection of overdue debts and smooth accounts receivable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
** Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of 2-3 credit controllers.
** Drive performance of the credit control function to meet debt collection targets and achieve results.
** Take ownership of resolving complex and high-value overdue debt cases across international markets.
** Lead direct negotiations with customers to secure payment of overdue invoices.
** Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
** Monitor debt ageing reports and proactively address late payments.
** Ensure accurate administration and maintenance of customer master data.
Requirements:
** Minimum 3+ years of experience in credit control / debt collection area.
** Prior managerial/team-leading experience is a strong plus.
** Solid understanding of accounts receivables and payables, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and ageing analysis.
** Strong negotiation and communication skills.
** Fluent English is essential; proficiency in Polish or German is an advantage.
** Proactive approach with the ability to identify potential issues and develop practical solutions.
