Primary Project Options
eBay (Customer Service / AI-related initiatives):
** Current PM is not an ideal long-term match; replacement is possible.
** Multiple AI-focused projects in the pipeline with >1 year duration potential.
** Enterprise-level complexity with internal dependencies and third-party vendors.
Other Potential Projects:
** Two additional medium-scale eBay AI initiatives currently in early scoping.
** Oliver Wyman (Insurance domain) - similar PM profile but insurance / regulated industry experience is a strong "nice to have."
** Other pending smaller projects where PM replacement might be needed due to escalations.
2. Ideal Candidate Profile:
Mandatory Experience:
Strong enterprise-level project management, including:
** Managing large-scale, multi-team programs (not just 1-2 teams).
** Cross-vendor cooperation (working with 3rd-party vendors).
** Managing dependencies across multiple internal departments.
** Client-facing experience with senior stakeholders (up to C-level).
o Ability to present and communicate effectively at all stakeholder layers.
Experience with complex and technical environments (ERP, data projects, AI, or similarly complex systems).
Experience coordinating several 8-10 person teams, including:
o Dependency mapping
o Risk management
o Managing external and internal technical stakeholders
Highly Desirable:
** Technical background or strong technical literacy (comfortable discussing architecture, data, AI components).
** Pre-sales / proposal-building experience (considered important for this role).
• Regulated domain exposure (insurance, healthcare, real estate), especially for the Oliver Wyman role.
Not Required: Deep eBay domain knowledge, or Specific e-commerce background
