Hotel Gudauri Lodge is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Chief Accountant
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia (Hotel Head Office)
Reports to: General Manager
Responsibilities:
** Coordinate all activities, operations and running of accounting - whilst actively displaying a proactive leadership style
** Along with Financial Controller prepare and post month end accruals and close monthly P&L on a timely basis
** Prepare bank reconciliations and posts bank entries to the accounting system on a daily basis
** Process and pay monthly hotel payroll
** Assist financial controller to submit periodic weekly and monthly reports to owning co
** Assist financial controller with company related program checks and reconciliations
** To set guidelines and deadlines for each accounting associate in order to ensure timely financial reporting
** Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
** Balances credit card ledgers
** Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately
** Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued
Qualifications:
** Knowledge of Georgian Tax legislation is a must
** Experience of working with the ERP system - SAP
** Be aware and constantly update knowledge of relevant IFRS
** Minimum 3 year of experience in accounting department preferably in hotel
** Ability to perform several duties simultaneously
** Attentive to details
