Our company is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as an IT Support Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
** Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
** Respond to queries.
** Train computer users.
** Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
** Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
** Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
** Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
** Clean up computers.
** Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
** Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
** Install computer peripherals for users.
** Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
** Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
** Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
Requirements:
** A bachelor`s degree (BSc/BA) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline will be preferred.
** Proven experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles
** Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software installation/troubleshooting.
** Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks, printers, and peripheral devices.
** Ability to run diagnostics, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
** Excellent customer service and communication skills.
** Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
