Job Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for handling negotiations and contracting with hotels, tour-guides, activity suppliers, and managing channels. The Contracting Manager will ensure that the best possible terms are secured, maintaining strong relationships with all suppliers to support the company`s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Negotiation and Contracting:
** Lead negotiations with hotels, guides, activity suppliers, and other partners to secure favorable terms and conditions.
** Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
** Manage the renewal of contracts and renegotiate terms as necessary to maintain competitive edge and profitability.
2. Supplier Relationship Management:
** Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual benefit.
** Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers to ensure service quality and adherence to contract terms.
** Address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract term.
3. Channel Management:
** Oversee the management of distribution channels to ensure optimal utilization and profitability.
** Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align channel strategies with overall business goals.
** Monitor channel performance and implement improvements as needed.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy:
** Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the travel and tourism industry.
** Develop and implement strategies to expand the supplier network and enhance product offerings.
** Analyze competitor contracts and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
** Ensure all contracting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
** Identify potential risks in contracts and develop mitigation strategies.
** Maintain accurate records of all contracts and negotiations.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
** Prepare regular reports on contracting activities, supplier performance, and market trends.
** Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve contracting processes.
** Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
7. CRM Data Management:
** Upload and manage contract data on the company`s proprietary CRM platform.
** Ensure all data is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
